British premium motorcycle maker Triumph has announced that it is going to launch its latest Street Triple 765 range for the Indian market.
As part of this, the company has started accepting pre-bookings for the modes, the company said. Customers interested in buying a vehicle can pre-book this premium bike at all Triumph dealerships in the country.
Triumph Street Triple 765 - Price and launching Date?
Triumph has fixed the pre-booking price of the new Street Triple 765 range at Rs 50,000. Now, the brand has announced that the motorcycle will be available in India in two variants – Street Triple R and RS. However, none of them have been allocated for India as only 765 units of the Triumph Moto2 version will be manufactured. The new motorcycles will be launched in March 2023. Triumph has also claimed that deliveries for customers who have booked subsequently will begin in the month of April 2023.
Triumph Street Triple 765 - Engine?
The 765cc triple-cylinder Street Triple R variant will get the same torque figures at 128bhp of power while the new engine delivers 80Nm of torque at a maximum power of 118bhp, while the Street Triple RS will get the same torque figures at 128bhp. The company has also revised the gearing of the motorcycle for better acceleration and responsiveness. Triumph cornering ABS and switchable traction control are also said to have been optimized.
Triumph Street Triple 765 Varients? - R, RS and Moto2.
The Street Triple R variant comes with four riding modes : Road, Rain and Sport. On the other hand, the RS variant will get five riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport, Rider and Track. Key technologies on this premium Classy bike include Bluetooth functionality, shift assisted up and down quick shift shifter, ride-by-wire throttle and immobilizer.
Triumph claims that the new Street Triple 765 range has the best ergonomics. This ensures the bike's better riding experience. The Street Triple R and RS models get 12 mm wide handlebars. The motorcycles are offered with fully adjustable suspension, lighter chassis and improved power-to-weight ratio. While the Street Triple RS track-ready Pirelli tyres come on the road, the Street Triple 6 gets continental tyres.
What are the Triumph Street Triple 765 Specifications?
Street Triple owners will be able to access turn-by-turn navigation, phone control and music operation through the accessory-fit Bluetooth module and the free My Triumph app. A lap timer is also included. The RS variant has a new colour-coded belly pan. It can be selected as an accessory option on the R model. The rear of the new Street Triple features a new sporty and upswep design to give it a focused, nose-down look. Another feature of the RS is the colour-coded seat cowl with an interchangeable pillion seat.
